Hiking Route – Wild Women's Trail

The Wild Women's Trail is a walking route of approximately 37.2 kilometres from Echt to Roermond, passing through Thorn and the Meuse region. Along the way, you'll discover the stories of women who shaped this region, from the Museum van de Vrouw (Museum of Women) in Echt to the noble Ladies of the Abbey in Thorn and the places in Roermond that recall the witch trials of 1613 and 1614.

The route can be walked in either direction. Take your time, check the ferry timetable before you set off and, if possible, turn it into a two day walking adventure.
